Exercise physiology can help to improve your overall health through the benefits that exercise can provide. Those people may be at risk of developing, or have existing, medical conditions and injuries. The aims of exercise physiology interventions are to prevent or manage acute, sub- acute or chronic disease or injury, and assist in restoring one’s optimal physical function, health or wellness.
With an increasing rate of inactive, sedentary behaviour and related diseases, we truly believe that regular exercise is the best medicine to prescribe and treat health conditions. In the same way, it can be used to prevent health conditions.
Our Exercise Physiologists use their understanding and knowledge of the human anatomy to improve your everyday health and fitness. Through their extensive knowledge of physiology, we seek to improve athletic performance and prescribe health interventions in workplaces.
